Monday 19th May 2025: Autscape AND Talk/Book signing and such
Hi everyone!
Not a long blog today, just a few things I need to make you aware of. (and a day late, sorry!)
JORIK AT BSU 4th June 2025!
First, for those of us who are close to Bath on the 4th June between 5-6pm, I’m doing a talk/launch event/booksigning event at Bath Spa University. Email me for a discount code, which the publishers have kindly given me for the event. It’s free to book and attend, thanks to Bath Spa University for organising it!
Come to Commons 221, at Bath Spa University’s Newton Park Campus: Commons Building, Newton Dr, Newton St Loe, Bath BA2 9BN
Please order a ticket ahead of time, which is relevant for fire safety regulations and all that.

AUTSCAPE
As you might know, Autscape is one of my favourite places in the world. A yearly retreat that’s all autistic and, for that reason, immensely valuable. It was the birthplace of many of the ideas in Feeling Fast and Slow and many opportunities to share, laugh and connect with likeminded (quite literally!) community. Booking for residential event closes on the 31st May (so get there in time!).
Autscape: 2025 Programme is here
https://www.autscape.org/2025/registration for Booking/registration

If you can’t make it this year, please share with your community and ask them to hurry up and book.
I won’t be able to make it this year, since we’re saving up for a big house move, which means we’ll have to stay in Bath over the summer. But there are worse places!
Any further news?
Not really. I’m finishing up mentoring for the year, focusing on getting Feeling Fast and Slow finished before the 1st July. If you’ve already bought Breaking the Boundaries, please leave reviews on the internet things (websites, I think they’re called) and, especially, talk to people about it. This is the way that books like this get in people’s hands. Request it from your favourite local bookshop and recommend it to your network. Social media shares used to make far more of a difference than they do now, but a share of last week’s blog and video is still appreciated.
Lots of love!
Jorik
